First Hair Cut-April 20, 2009

Kaesen has lots of hair and curly. So Jana came over to give Kaesen his first haircut. He just wanted to look at Jana and see what she was doing. He did good and looked great after it was done. That same day we got Kaesen a new duck bath tub so we had to keep showing him it to look forward.

After the haircut Kaesen finally got to play in his new bath tub.

Sleep-Over with Cole- April 17, 2009

Cole has been wanting to sleep over at our house for a while. We decided to let Cole sleep over since he would ask us every day to stay. I think that Harlan was more excited to have him sleep over than I was. Cole wanted to take a bath with Kaesen but Kaesen was still bathing in his baby tub. So we filled Kaesen's baby tub up then the regular tub after. They had some much fun bathing. After bathing it was time for Kaesen to go to bed but Cole and Harlan had two bags of popcorn and watched a movie.

Softball Games- April 13, 2009

This year Johna played on the varsity softball team for American Fork High. So we were able to go watch her play on the warm days. The first softball game Kaesen went to was on Johna's 18th Birthday. Grandpa Norm would always sit out in center field so we sat with him for a while. Kaesen loved playing on the grass while we watched Johna play.

Easter

For Kaesen's first Easter we did alot of exciting things. We colored Easter eggs with the Aunt Rachelle, Taylor, and Cole one day and another day colored eggs with Aunt Michelle, Johna, Brandon, Grandma Hope, and Grandpa Norm. Kaesen's Egg this year was blue. He just liked to put it in his mouth. Kaesen also got lots of Easter gifts. Here is Kaesen opening his gifts from Grandma Hope and Grandpa Norm.

Here are some of our pictures at Aunt Rachelle's House decorating eggs.

The Saturday before Easter Grandma Hope and Grandpa Norm took us all out to breakfast at Kneaders. Kaesen took a nap through the first part of breakfast.

After breakfast we went back to our house to decorate eggs and open easter presents from Grandma and Grandpa. Kaesen got a swimming suit, clothes, money, and a bucket. Kaesen didn't care about the gifts but loved the tissue paper and bags.

The Easter Bunny sure get Kaesen alot of fun stuff. Kaesen received PJ's, clothes, sunglasses, and some toys. He loves the sunglasses. He leaves them one and doesn't mess with them.

After church on Easter we went to Aunt Sara and Uncle Dave's house for an easter party. We had an easter egg hunt in the backyard and got more easter gifts. Grandma Sue made sugar eggs for all the grandkids. She made some that they could eat. So we let Kaesen and Isla have there egg for a minute. While all the other cousins were playing outside Isla let Kaesen play in her room and play with her dolls.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today was such a fun day. We started off by going to work. After work I had a little meeting because now I am in the Young Women's in our ward. Then me and Kaesen headed to the park with Rachelle, Taylor, and Cole. Kaesen has so much fun with his aunt and cousins. After the park we headed on our walk. We have been going on a walk every day with Aunt Rachelle and the kids. Tonight is Kaesen and dad's night. So who knows that Harlan has planned for them.

5 Months Old

In the past month alot has happened. Kaesen got his first virus, got to eat rice, went sledding, slept in own room, had first valentines, and grew so much. At Kaesen's four month appointment he was 25 1/4in., 16 lbs 13oz. Just two weeks ago while at the doctors when he was sick he was 17lbs 8oz. He sure doesn't miss a meal. Kaesen is almost sitting up by himself and just the happiest baby ever. Kaesen loves his cousins Taylor and Cole. We see them about every day. Sometimes Kaesen visits Aunt Rachelle while I go to work. It is nice to have them just up the road to help out.

Christmas.

We started out Christmas Eve at Grandma Hope's House for our family party. After the party we got to open our Christmas PJ's from Santa. Dad helped Kaesen out with his PJ's.

Christmas morning we were woke up Kaesen around 8am. We opened presents from Santa and from each other. Kaesen got many fun presents like a Sea Horse that glows and plays music, PJ's, clothes, fun book from Jana, and other toys. He mostly loved the wrapping paper.

After opening presents at our house we went to Grandma Hope's House for breakfast. Grandma Hope made a big breakfast for my family, Michelle's family, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Petersen, and Grandpa. After eating we opened more presents.

In the afternoon we ended the night by going to Grandma Sue house for dinner. Kaesen was pretty tried after a long day and slept the whole time while opening presents. Once he woke up we wanted to show everyone how he can roll over. He started rolling over on my birthday. He got shy and would just put his head down. He only rolls over when he wants to but he pretty proud to be doing it. I didn't think a three month old baby should be rolling over.
The football playoffs started during the Christmas break. Harlan went hunting the day the Eagles played the Cowboys. Harlan loves the Cowboys and Harlan's brother Casey loves the Eagles. When Harlan returned from hunting I had Kaesen in his cousin Coles Eagle outfit.
