Great Grandma Bunker - June 10, 2009

Great Grandma Bunker has been sick and was in the hospital. We took Kaesen to see her. She was so excited to see him. She loves to see her grand kids. She is the sweetest lady and when we were going to leave she didn't want any of us to say goodbye but to say see you soon.

When Grandma got out of the hospital we went to visit her. She was able to watch Kaesen crawl all over her house.

Cart Ride - June 6, 2009

So I really didn't ever want Kaesen to ride in a cart. They are so gross and dirty. We went to Smith's shopping and we put him in one and he loved it. But I did wipe it down with bleach wipes tons before putting him in it. Harlan had Kaesen laughing so hard while riding in the cart. I had to take his picture because he was being so cute. When Kaesen sees the camera he smiles so big.

Girls Camp - June 1-5, 2009

Did I ever think I would be going to girls camp again? NO! But it was so much fun. I thought it was going to be so hard to be away from Kaesen (and it was) but I am so glad I went to girls camp. We went to the Heber Valley Camp. Camp this year was a stake camp. I got to know many new leaders and got to know the girls more. Thanks to my mom to take the week off of work to watch Kaesen during the day for Harlan.

Of course we love to eat

We all made our own cars. The leaders had a limo.

First Day of Camp

Class of 2009 - May 29, 2009

This year my niece Johna graduated from American Fork High. I was kind of nervous about taking Kaesen to the graduation. I thought he might get bored and want to play.
But he was so good. He just sat and watched the whole thing. He got a little sleepy towards the end but never cried or wanted down. It is a little crazy that my niece is old enough to be graduating from high school. After the graduation we all went to eat at Brick Oven. Now that Johna is graduated from High School she will be going to BYU on a full ride scholarship.

Bike Rides - May 25, 2009

Harlan and I love to ride bikes, so we have been looking for a bike trailer. We found the perfect one and Kaesen loves to be in it. One night Aunt Rachelle, Harlan, and I took Kaesen on a long bike ride. He was talking alot on the time and then he got all quiet. I looked back and Kaesen was sound asleep.Even after getting home from the long ride we put Kaesen in his highchair to feed him his rice he just slept. Harlan will take Kaesen on bike rides to see the chickens and horses that are around the corner from our house. I usually take Kaesen on rides with Taylor and Cole around the block or to the park.

Mother's Day - May 10, 2009

Being a mother to Kaesen is the best job ever. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful baby boy. I am also grateful for my wonderful mom and mother-in-law. On Mother's Day in the morning Harlan's two sisters had everyone over for a bunch. Then we went to church because I had to teach. After church my mom treated my whole family including Grandma Dorothy and Clyde to Olive Garden. It was so yummy. It is so great to finally be a mother.

First Time Swimming- April 24, 2009

Since Kaesen loves to take a bath we thought he would love swimming. So we decided to take him to the Lehi pool. We went with Aunt Rachelle, Taylor, Cole, Aunt Sara, Isaak, and Isla. Kaesen loved the swimming pool. He would put his head under the water and come up and laugh. If you would come near him he would splash you.

Kaesen loves to float on his back. I think he is going to be a better swimmer than his mom. We played in the pool for about two hours and I thought it was time to go. So when I got Kaesen out of the pool he just cried. He wanted to stay and swim with everyone else. But as soon as we got him changed and back in the stroller he passed out before we got to the car.

First Hair Cut-April 20, 2009

Kaesen has lots of hair and curly. So Jana came over to give Kaesen his first haircut. He just wanted to look at Jana and see what she was doing. He did good and looked great after it was done. That same day we got Kaesen a new duck bath tub so we had to keep showing him it to look forward.

After the haircut Kaesen finally got to play in his new bath tub.

Sleep-Over with Cole- April 17, 2009

Cole has been wanting to sleep over at our house for a while. We decided to let Cole sleep over since he would ask us every day to stay. I think that Harlan was more excited to have him sleep over than I was. Cole wanted to take a bath with Kaesen but Kaesen was still bathing in his baby tub. So we filled Kaesen's baby tub up then the regular tub after. They had some much fun bathing. After bathing it was time for Kaesen to go to bed but Cole and Harlan had two bags of popcorn and watched a movie.

Softball Games- April 13, 2009

This year Johna played on the varsity softball team for American Fork High. So we were able to go watch her play on the warm days. The first softball game Kaesen went to was on Johna's 18th Birthday. Grandpa Norm would always sit out in center field so we sat with him for a while. Kaesen loved playing on the grass while we watched Johna play.

Easter

For Kaesen's first Easter we did alot of exciting things. We colored Easter eggs with the Aunt Rachelle, Taylor, and Cole one day and another day colored eggs with Aunt Michelle, Johna, Brandon, Grandma Hope, and Grandpa Norm. Kaesen's Egg this year was blue. He just liked to put it in his mouth. Kaesen also got lots of Easter gifts. Here is Kaesen opening his gifts from Grandma Hope and Grandpa Norm.

Here are some of our pictures at Aunt Rachelle's House decorating eggs.

The Saturday before Easter Grandma Hope and Grandpa Norm took us all out to breakfast at Kneaders. Kaesen took a nap through the first part of breakfast.

After breakfast we went back to our house to decorate eggs and open easter presents from Grandma and Grandpa. Kaesen got a swimming suit, clothes, money, and a bucket. Kaesen didn't care about the gifts but loved the tissue paper and bags.

The Easter Bunny sure get Kaesen alot of fun stuff. Kaesen received PJ's, clothes, sunglasses, and some toys. He loves the sunglasses. He leaves them one and doesn't mess with them.

After church on Easter we went to Aunt Sara and Uncle Dave's house for an easter party. We had an easter egg hunt in the backyard and got more easter gifts. Grandma Sue made sugar eggs for all the grandkids. She made some that they could eat. So we let Kaesen and Isla have there egg for a minute. While all the other cousins were playing outside Isla let Kaesen play in her room and play with her dolls.
